Job Title: Family Physician or Psychiatrist with Interest in Sleep Medicine
The Centre for Sleep & Human Performance is seeking a licensed Family Physician or Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary sleep medicine team in Calgary, Alberta.
This opportunity is ideal for physicians interested in developing specialized expertise in Sleep Medicine within a collaborative, supportive, and academically oriented clinical environment.
Previous experience in Sleep Medicine is considered an asset but is not required. Training, mentorship, and clinical observation opportunities will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct sleep medicine consultations and follow up appointments
- Assess and manage patients with a variety of sleep related concerns and disorders
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and administrative staff within a multidisciplinary setting
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the EMR
- Provide patient education and treatment guidance related to sleep health and ongoing management
Qualifications:
- Physician licensed or eligible for independent practice in Alberta
- CPSA licensure required
- Must be eligible for Alberta Health billing
- Background in Family Medicine or Psychiatry preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Interest in Sleep Medicine and long term clinical growth
