Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes and lubrication, to ensure vehicles operate smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, lubrication, and basic vehicle maintenance services accurately and efficiently
- Inspect vehicles for potential issues and communicate findings to the service team or customers
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Support sales efforts by recommending additional maintenance or repair services when appropriate
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance standards and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
