Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. This role requires excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring a positive experience for every client. The RMT will work in a supportive environment that values professionalism, confidentiality, and high-quality service delivery.
As we’re building our clientele, we prefer to start with one day per week and gradually increase shifts as demand grows.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized massage therapy treatments based on client needs and health conditions
- Assess client health history and discuss treatment plans to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Uphold hygiene standards by sanitizing equipment and treatment areas before and after each session
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care when necessary
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements
Requirements
- Valid registration and licensure as a Massage Therapist (RMT)
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and healthcare documentation
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and health advice clearly
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy at all times
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required.
