Job Title: Line Cook
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and portion control guidelines.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Assist with food prep, inventory rotation, and receiving deliveries as needed.
- Work as part of a team to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Complete all assigned closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, restocking stations, properly storing food, taking out garbage and recycling, sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring the kitchen is clean and ready for the next shift.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and kitchen sanitation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods.
- Food Handler Certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
