Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety standards.
- Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible serving practices in compliance with alcohol regulations.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when required.
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and food safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments preferred; familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and managing tabs.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact positively with guests.
