Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. must be comfortable with ladders & heights . Transportation required .
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint, varnish, or stain to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint splatters
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective gear when necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and tools
- Ability to build and repair structures as needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Ability to rig scaffolding or ladders for painting hard-to-reach areas
- Experience in residential painting preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Knowledge of drywall repair and restoration techniques
