Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Woodworking Specialist. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a well-established company that takes pride in producing high-quality custom millwork and cabinetry.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and shop drawings.
- Fabricate and assemble custom commercial cabinetry, millwork, and specialty fixtures.
- Operate woodworking machinery such as sliding table saws, CNC machines, edge banders, wide belt sanders, and various hand tools.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials while minimizing waste.
- Work with project managers and engineering teams to resolve fabrication or installation challenges.
- Install commercial millwork and specialty products on-site with precision and attention to detail.
- Complete finishing work including laminates, veneers, edge treatments, and hardware installation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinet making, commercial millwork, or custom woodworking.
- Experience operating woodworking machinery and using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of woodworking materials, joinery methods, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods throughout the day.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing 20 kg (44 lbs) or more with appropriate assistance.
- Steel-toe safety boots are required.
