Pay: CA$20–$25/hour, based on experience. Most movers start at $20–$22. The top of the range is for experienced drivers with real moving experience and a track record of showing up reliably. Same-day cash tips and performance bonuses on top — so dependable crew take home well above base.
We're hiring a Driver/Mover (or Mover) who can handle a 26-foot box truck and a heavy couch with the same calm competence. Class 5 license, no air brakes required.
This is in-person, physical work with variable but ongoing hours — busy days, real shifts, and cash tips on top of an hourly rate already above the local average. It's best for someone who wants dependable, regular work, not an occasional side gig. If you're already moving for someone else and tired of being underpaid, read on.
What the day looks like
- Drive a 26-foot box truck to residential and commercial moves across Kelowna and the Okanagan
- Load, pad, wrap, and unload furniture and boxes without damaging anything — the customer's stuff or yourself
- Run the job alongside one or two crewmates: clear communication, steady pace, no drama
- Keep the truck clean, fueled, and inspected
What you bring
- Valid Class 5 BC driver's license and a clean abstract
- A reliable way to get to our Kelowna shop for the start of each shift — your own vehicle or dependable transport
- Dependability above all. We're a small crew — when you accept a shift, customers and crewmates are counting on you to be there, on time. No-shows and last-minute cancels are the one thing we can't carry.
