Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive human resources support, managing employee relations, and ensuring HR policies and practices align with company goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build trust and maintain professional relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including workforce planning and employer branding efforts.
- Lead onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- May administer benefits programs and act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers.
- Conduct training sessions and assist in developing learning programs for employees.
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal employment regulations, workers’ compensation, benefit programs and supports safety initiatives.
- Support performance management programs, including goal setting and performance evaluations.
- Provide clear, concise, and professional communication in English and French
- Administer HRIS systems, maintain accurate records, and provide HR Reporting and analytics.
- May administer and process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with provincial and federal laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with compensation analysis and salary benchmarking.
- Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Additional related tasks as required
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration/Management, or related field preferred.
HRPA designation an asset.
3-5 years of progressive HR experience.
Bilingual in French & English both written and verbal
Strong understanding of HR Laws and regulations
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information/situations with professionalism and discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with HRIS and other HR technology tools. Experience with Dayforce an asset.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
