Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-In Caregiver to provide assistance and companionship to an 86-year-old senior in a private household. The successful candidate will help assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and ensuring the overall comfort, safety, and well-being of the client
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care, companionship and emotional support to the client.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene as required.
- Plan, prepare, and serve healthy meals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe household environment through light housekeeping duties.
- Support the client with mobility and daily routines as needed.
- Observe and communicate any changes in the client's health, behavior, or daily functioning to family members.
- Ensure the client's comfort, safety, and quality of life at all times.
- Encourage social engagement and meaningful daily activities to support the client's emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Tagalog to support clear communication and provide culturally appropriate care.
- Previous experience providing care to seniors, or in a caregiving, nanny, or personal support role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, trustworthy, patient, and responsible.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a private household setting.
- Physically capable of assisting with daily living activities and light household tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to the changing needs of the client.
- Basic knowledge of household management, meal preparation, and safe caregiving practices.
- Compassionate nature with excellent caregiving abilities and patience.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with family members and those in your care.
- Flexibility to live-in on a full-time basis within the family home environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
