J E Culp Transport is a growing cross-border trucking company. We specialize in Bulk Goods Hauling between locations in Ontario and to the U.S.
We are hiring experienced AZ Company Drivers and Owner Operators (please inquire for more info) to become a part of our great team on daily runs that bring you back to the yard every day. As well there is opportunity for OTR work running to Florida for those who prefer to run Long Distance. We operate Waste Trailers, End Dump Trailers, B-Trains, Pneumatic Bulk Tankers, Liquid Tankers, Dry Vans and Refer Trailers
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues to ensure safe operation and public safety
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, equipment damage and property damage when applicable
- Maintain E-logs in accordance with DOT & MTO Regulations
- Retain copies of fuel, and border toll receipts, as well as pick-up and delivery tickets to complete daily paperwork
- Approximately 500Km-800km a day, 10-14 hour runs
- Home nightly
- Insurance, plates, authorities provided by J E Culp
- Monday to Friday Schedule
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- Valid AZ License
- Must be able to cross US border daily
- Waste Hauling experience would be an asset
- Heavy hauling experience is an asset
- 2+ years of related AZ driving experience
- Ability to provide Driver’s Abstract, CVOR Abstract, and criminal background check
- Great attitude and work ethic
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,400.00-$1,950.00 per week
