Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with rotating Saturdays
Leamington Food Outlet is a family-run retail and wholesale frozen food business established in 1987. We carry a wide selection of high-quality frozen foods and supply both retail customers and foodservice customers throughout Windsor-Essex.
We're looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on, physical role that keeps our warehouse, freezer, and retail floor running smoothly. You'll be part of the day-to-day operation, from receiving shipments and organizing product, to picking orders and stocking shelves. This is a full-time, permanent position with a stable schedule, competitive compensation, and real room to grow.
Responsibilities
- Repack frozen food products for retail display and foodservice orders
- Pick and prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading, checking, and putting away incoming shipments.
- Work in the warehouse, cooler, and freezer environments throughout the day
- Rotate stock using FIFO (first in, first out)
- Stock retail shelves and help maintain product displays
- Help organize and maintain warehouse product locations
- Load and unload delivery vehicles when needed
- Operate a forklift, or be willing and able to be trained
- Provide backup support for deliveries when required (vacation coverage)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract
- Able and willing to work in freezer and cooler environments
- Forklift experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable with physical work throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Available for rotating Saturday shifts
Schedule
This is a full-time position.
Regular hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
The schedule rotates, with every other week having Friday off and working Saturday instead.
Saturday hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
