Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable Flat Roof Installers, Standing Seam Installers, and Roofing Labourers to join our professional roofing team. This role involves working on residential and commercial roofing projects, primarily focusing on flat roof systems and standing seam metal roofs. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in construction or carpentry. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized roofing skills while contributing to high-quality building projects.
Responsibilities
- Install flat roofing systems (ex EPDM, PVC, TPO) and standing seam metal roofs according to project specifications and safety standards
- Prepare work sites by measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools
- Assist with the setup and teardown of roofing equipment and scaffolding
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation procedures
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing integrity of roofing systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project phase
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
Requirements
- Prior construction experience, particularly in roofing, carpentry, or handyman work is preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, drills, snips, and measuring devices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols at all times
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills related to flat roof installation and standing seam systems
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
