As a Service Writer, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, guiding them through the service process while helping ensure daily operations run smoothly. If you’re a strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively, we want you on our team!
What We’re Looking For:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with IDS or similar database systems is an asset
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of administrative policies and procedures
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration is preferred
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver a positive and professional customer experience throughout the service process
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate daily workflow efficiently
- Open and manage new work orders, ensuring customer information and service details are accurately recorded
- Track repair progress from start to completion and provide timely customer updates as needed
- Answer phone and online inquiries promptly and professionally
- Communicate recommended repairs, services, timelines and pricing to customers
- Obtain customer approvals before work begins
- Process customer payments and assist with administrative support duties as needed
- Maintain accurate records and support communication between customers and the service team
What We Offer:
- Compensation range of $21.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week
