We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data/Logistics Analyst to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in warehouse distribution, transportation management systems, and data analysis to optimize our logistics operations. Your insights will drive process improvements, enhance order fulfillment efficiency, and support sourcing and procurement strategies. Duties
- Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction across warehouse distribution, freight, and transportation management systems.
- Support purchasing and procurement activities by evaluating vendor performance, pricing strategies, and sourcing options.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance demand planning accuracy and improve order fulfillment timelines.
- Monitor and report on key logistics metrics such as freight costs, shipping accuracy, and warehouse productivity using data analysis skills.
- Maintain accurate HS tariff classifications and supporting documentation
- Compile data, computing costs, fees and charges
- Independently analyze new rate proposals, economic conditions, increases, and rate changes as needed to determine carrier competitiveness.
- Support the integration of third-party logistics (3PL) providers and oversee transportation activities through transportation management systems (TMS).
- Maintain and keeping other relevant records.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in Transportation and Logistics an asset
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in MS Office i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook,
- Comprehension and ease of formula usage, comprehension of dimensions
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills; telephone etiquette is a must
- Motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines and to prioritize workload
Compensation based on experience.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
