We're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our event rental crew for the busy season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and can be trusted to represent the company professionally on job sites.
Position Overview
As a Tent Installer / Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering equipment to event locations, safely towing trailers, setting up and removing tents and event rentals, and communicating with management throughout the day to ensure jobs stay on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Drive company trucks and tow equipment trailers to event sites
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload rental equipment
- Set up and take down tents, tables, chairs, lighting, and other event rentals
- Arrive at job sites on time and maintain scheduled timelines
- Communicate regularly with management regarding your location, progress, and any site issues
- Lead or assist crew members during installations and removals
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with customers
- Ensure equipment is handled safely and returned in good condition
Requirements
- Experience towing and maneuvering 14-16ft trailers is required
- Valid driver's license with a CLEAN driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from our yard
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Ability to work independently and make good decisions on-site
- Must be available for the full season from June through October
- Experience in construction, landscaping, moving, event rentals, or a similar field is considered an asset
