Overview
We are seeking a skilled Flat Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flat roofing techniques and construction practices. We focus primarily on Modified Bitumen torch down roofing and repair work. We require a fine eye for detail and quality workmanship for every employee. Roofing especially requires safety on the job site and all employees must have a good understanding of safe roofing practices and working at heights procedures. As a Flat Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.
Duties
- Install roofing materials such as modified bitumen torch down rolls, EPDM, Metal Roofing and others
- Perform inspections to identify issues with existing roofs and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and torches effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site activities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials safely on-site.
- Apply caulking and other sealants to ensure waterproofing of roofs.
- Follow all safety procedures and have an understanding of safe torch down roofing practices, fire extinguishers, and fire watches
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively are an asset
- Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of roofing maintenance skills is an asset

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
