Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency in CNC programming, and experience operating various machining equipment such as CNC lathes and milling machines. The CNC Machinist will play a key part in ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery including CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, and other machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints & technical drawings.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Select and use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for machine setup and part assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment when required
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining operations
- Proficiency in CNC programming
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with machining tools including calipers, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Knowledge of CNC lathe and CNC milling machine operations
- Ability to operate forklifts or similar material handling equipment safely
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues effectively
