Important Notes Before Applying:
- We are looking for tutors who can commit until at least May–June 2027.
- Our teaching hours are 3:30–6:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM–1:00 PM on Saturdays. Applicants must be available to work at least two shifts per week within this schedule. (Your specific available days can vary, as long as you can consistently commit to any two shifts.)
- This position focuses on high school Math and Science; however, candidates must also be comfortable teaching elementary-level English and Math when needed.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic High School Math and Science Tutor to inspire and support students in mastering core academic subjects. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions in high school-level Math and Science subjects, including algebra, geometry, biology, chemistry, and physics
- Assess individual student needs and tailor lessons to support their learning styles and academic requirements
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and critical thinking
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve steadily
- Utilize computer skills to incorporate educational technology and resources into lessons
- Support students with classroom challenges, including those in special education programs or requiring additional assistance
- Maintain clear records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and areas for improvement
Skills
- Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of high school Math and Science curriculum
- Proven tutoring or teaching experience with diverse learners
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Proficiency with computer skills and educational software tools
- Classroom experience or familiarity with instructional strategies for special education students
- Background in computer science or related fields is a plus for integrating technology into lessons
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
