Job Overview
We are seeking dynamic and energetic Furniture Movers to join our Vernon BC team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and unloading items to ensure timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. We are seeking individuals with great work ethics, who are punctual and dependable. Must hold a valid class 5 Drivers License and be capable of safely lifting up to 100lbs. Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport goods using appropriate moving techniques and equipment
- Operate commercial vehicles such as trucks or vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction
- Follow safety protocols during all moving and delivery activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate schedules, routes, and delivery priorities efficiently
Skills
- Valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the day
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail in handling goods securely
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to moving and driving
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
