Our client is seeking a Quality Engineering - Java + Selenium to join their team. As a Quality Engineering - Java + Selenium, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting software testing and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Engineering - Java + Selenium
Location: Downtown Toronto - 2-3 days a week onsite
What's the Job?
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java for web application testing.
- Utilize test automation frameworks to ensure efficient and scalable test execution, adhering to established frameworks.
- Design and build customized test harnesses for automation testing.
- Create and maintain API test scripts using Postman for RESTful web services testing.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with IT and business teams to support testing activities.
What's Needed?
- At least 3 years of experience managing automation test projects.
- Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Postman.
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch to support regression and repeatable tests.
- Knowledge of configuration management and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git).
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
