Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring consistency and visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
- Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
