About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Security Clerk to support sensitive administrative and investigative processes within a secure professional environment. This role involves coordinating interviews, handling confidential documentation, conducting information gathering activities, and preparing reports related to workplace, personnel, and security-related matters.
This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience working in confidential or investigative environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and meetings with individuals involved in administrative or security-related matters
- Prepare and organize documentation required for interviews and investigations
- Ensure consent forms, acknowledgements, and related documentation are completed properly
- Assist with information gathering and fact-finding activities
- Conduct electronic searches and maintain organized digital records
- Review and organize investigation-related documentation and materials
- Prepare summaries, notes, and written reports based on gathered information
- Maintain confidentiality and securely handle sensitive information and records
- Provide administrative support related to workplace, personnel, or security-related investigations
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular updates regarding ongoing files and activities
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of recent and relevant experience in administrative, security, investigative, compliance, or workplace support environments
- Experience supporting activities such as:
- Workplace or administrative investigations
- Security screening or personnel-related matters
- Fact-finding interviews
- Internal compliance reviews
- Investigative documentation or reporting
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Experience using computers and standard office software for reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks
- Ability to conduct electronic searches and securely manage digital information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information professionally
Language Requirements
- Fully bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
Security Requirements
- Must be eligible to obtain or currently possess a Secret-level security clearance
Work Environment
Work may be performed:
- On-site within the National Capital Region
- Remotely via telephone or virtual meetings
- At secure client or contractor locations
Attendance at in-person meetings may be required.
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ottawa, ON
