We are currently seeking an experienced person to manage the day to day grounds and maintenance of the campground. Should you wish to live on site, a site for your own RV can be arranged.
This is a great seasonal opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors! Reporting directly to the Campground Manager, the Maintenance Lead will be instrumental in maintaining great customer relations and service to our guests, as well as maintaining a clean, well-kept campground. The successful candidate has previous building (including plumbing and electric) and landscaping maintenance experience and will have a professional appearance and demeanor and be able to deal with a wide variety of maintenance situations.
Qualifications:
- A hospitable nature - previous campground or experience in the Tourism industry a definite asset
- Quality workmanship and excellent customer service skills - a strong sense of pride in work well done.
- Experience operating a tractor and landscaping equipment
- Experience painting, completing small mechanic, plumbing and carpentry projects
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving basic electrical and plumbing problems
- Physically able to walk up to 5km. per day, able to lift up to 50 lbs safely and able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
- Organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Ability to delegate and assign responsibilities to team members
- Ability to interact well with people and maintain an effective working relationship with the manager and team.
- Flexibility in weekly schedule/ability to work some evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the campground
- Deal efficiently with guest issues and ensure all requests are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure all campground areas are safe, clean and functional at all times
- General upkeep and maintenance of equipment including tractor, golf cart, small engine equipment, etc.
- Be observant within the campground for equipment or areas needing immediate attention and perform the work needed - Reporting all problems, damage or potential hazards to manager
- Responsible for short-term and medium-term maintenance and improvement project planning
- Document, prioritize, and plan tasks & projects from start to finish
- Budget and purchase maintenance, repair, and project supplies as needed
- Clean campsites by performing tasks like raking, cleaning out fire pits, tree cutting, picking up branches, etc.
- Lawn mowing, weed whacking, tree trimming, ensuring roads are in good conditions and repair as needed, etc.
- Daily Maintenance on vintage rental trailers
- Delegate and assign project tasks and maintenance duties to the team accordingly
- Coordinate with contractors on projects as needed
- Operating honeywagon/sewer pump out system
- Regular cleaning and maintenance of our bathrooms and laundry facilities
- Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Must be available to work long hours, be on call, work split shifts, Days, Evenings and Weekends
- Assistance with other campground projects as needed
License/Certification:
- WHISM, would be an asset (preferred)
- Driver’s license
Employment Information:
This is a full-time, seasonal position with the opportunity to return year after year.
Start Date: June 1, 2026 End Date: October 20 2026.
Flexible work schedule with the candidate being able to work any day of the week.
Salary:
$22-$24/ per hour (depends on experience) - An RV site can be included at a discounted rate
