What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Installer to join our crew. This is a physical, fast-paced role that requires sharp attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and absolute reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complete tear-offs of old residential asphalt shingles down to the wood deck.
- Inspect decking for rot and replace plywood/boards cleanly when necessary.
- Install ice and water shield, synthetic underlayment, drip edge, and starter strips to code.
- Lay architectural field shingles efficiently with consistent, accurate nail placement.
- Install and tie in hip/ridge caps, box vents, and valley systems smoothly.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean job site, ensuring all debris is cleared daily.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1–2 years of residential roofing/shingling experience (Must be able to hand-nail or use a coil gun efficiently).
- Valid Ontario Working at Heights Certification (REQUIRED). If you do not have a current, valid ticket, you will not be allowed on the roof.
- Ability to comfortably climb ladders and work on low-to-medium pitched residential roofs.
- Must have your own reliable transportation to get to job sites around the Windsor-Essex region.
- Must own your own basic personal hand tools and safety harness/PPE (Pouch, knife, hammer, etc.).
- Punctual, honest, and possessing a strong team-first attitude.
