Job Summary

Duties
- Research potential funding sources using databases and other resources to identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop clear, persuasive grant proposals and supporting documents that meet funder requirements
- Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes within databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM systems
- Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data to strengthen proposals
- Monitor and report on grant progress, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements
- Assist in crafting marketing materials to promote the organization’s mission to potential funders and stakeholders
- Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective funders through effective communication and stewardship efforts
Experience
- Proven experience in grant writing, research, or fundraising roles, preferably within nonprofit organizations or similar sectors
- Strong familiarity with databases such as Raiser's Edge or comparable CRM platforms for tracking grants and donor information
- Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities across diverse sources
- Effective communication skills for writing compelling proposals and engaging with stakeholders
- Knowledge of marketing principles to enhance proposal presentation and organizational visibility
- Customer service mindset to build positive relationships with funders, partners, and internal teams
