Role Description
As a Property Manager at Steiner Properties, you will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and financial performance of a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include tenant relationship management, lease administration, coordinating property maintenance, preparing and managing operating budgets. Your role will include identifying opportunities to enhance property value and implement improvements with regular site visits. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Vancouver, BC, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work. Travel within BC and Alberta will be required.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Act as a primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their needs and facilitating communication with management and leasing team
- Knowledge of local real estate markets.
- Assist in organizing tenant events, programs, and activities to encourage community engagement
- Promptly respond to tenant issues, inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and considerate manner.
- Regularly perform site visits to determine areas of maintenance, repair and future improvements with recommendations to senior management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and ability to pivot on job tasks and responsibilities as required to assist the team, handling multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proactive and positive attitude, willing to take initiative and contribute to the success of the team and broader stakeholder group.
- Maintain tenant records, service contracts and relevant documentation.
- Handle residential tenant move-ins and move-outs, conducting property inspections.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Available for after hours emergency response as required.
Qualifications
- Residential rental property management expertise, including lease administration and tenant relations.
- Experience with property maintenance coordination and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of commercial leases and residential tenancy agreements. Well versed in the Residential Tenancy Act.
- Excellent in Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel). Proficiency in property management software (yardi) an asset.
- Diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certification, such as Certified Property Manager (CPM), is an asset.
- Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle required.

Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
