Delivery Tech Inc. is currently accepting resumes for a Class 5 driver.
Pay starts at $24.00 per hour
Candidates should have
- Minimum of 3 years of consecutive experience driving heavy-duty truck
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the pickup and delivery courier industry
- Above two requirements must be proved with referrance letter or claims experiance letter.
- Clean driver's abstract (must bring for interview)
- Clean criminal record report (must be provided at the time of hiring)
- Able to locate addresses in Edmonton without the assistance of a GPS device.
- Able to hand bomb freight, push and pull skids of freight with a pallet jack.
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours per day if required, some evenings and weekends
- Willing to drive a 5-ton truck or small van if required.

Candidates should be professional, customer service-oriented, and adhere to safe driving policies. Most freight deliveries will require breaking down items from a pallet onto a cart and bringing them into the client’s building, placing the freight where the client requests. Drivers must execute these deliveries with a positive attitude while maintaining a professional appearance. Candidates should expect to work a full 12-hour shift if required. Shift hours vary but typically start at 7:00 AM. We also have a few evening and weekend shifts that can be shared among all drivers. All drivers are required to wear the company uniform and certified steel-toe boots while on the job. We are an established yet rapidly growing company and offer competitive wages based on experience.
