Grey Bruce Cottages Inc. is one of the Bruce Peninsula’s largest vacation rental property management companies, proudly managing more than 90 waterfront cottages. We’re passionate about protecting our Owners’ investments while creating exceptional guest experiences.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Maintenance Lead to join our Property Services Team, reporting to our Foreman of Special Projects.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong handyman or property maintenance experience who enjoys problem-solving, working outdoors, and leading by example.
What You’ll Do
- Complete preventative maintenance across our cottage portfolio
- Perform minor plumbing, carpentry and repair work
- Troubleshoot appliances, hot tubs and property systems
- Respond to maintenance requests and guest-impacting issues
- Support and mentor Maintenance Technicians
- Help identify larger repairs for our Special Projects team
- Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle
- Work closely with our Operations, Customer Success and Special Projects teams
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence
- Property maintenance or handyman experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Positive attitude and excellent communication
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Pride in delivering quality workmanship
Experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, pools or hot tubs is considered an asset.
