We are currently looking for an experienced construction surveyor.
Duties:
- Perform construction layout for various sites (commercial, roads, substations, airports etc)
- Setup, use and maintain survey equipment including robotic total station, digital level, and GPS
- Engineering survey
- Quantity survey
- As-built survey
- Legal survey
Requirements:
- proficient with Trimble Robotic total station and GPS
- minimum of 3 years experience as a construction surveyor in a Party Chief role with strong knowledge of surveying techniques, standards, and procedures
- ability to work out of town for short periods of time on occasion
- attention to detail and quality
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work autonomously
- effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner
- computer literate
- Have clean driving abstract
- Be physically fit and able to work in inclement weather elements
- Work overtime hours as required
