Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to produce precise metal components in accordance with blueprints and specifications.
Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications to determine proper machine settings.
- Use CNC programming skills to input data for automated bending operations when applicable.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to verify dimensions meet specifications.
- Assist with material handling using cranes, forklifts, or plasma cutting tools as needed for raw material preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly, machining, or welding tasks related to finished components.
- Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating press brake machines with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, plasma cutting, CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, and CNC machining is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for precise fabrication.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and basic assembly processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and quality inspection procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes such as CNC milling or lathe work.
- Experience with crane operation and forklift handling for material movement is advantageous.
- Basic math skills necessary for calculating measurements and machine settings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
