Position Overview
Trans4 Group Ltd. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to work directly with the Safety Manager in supporting driver compliance, fleet safety, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will help maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with provincial and federal transportation regulations.
Expectations
- Review driver ELD/logbooks daily to ensure Hours of Service compliance.
- Monitor and review in-cab camera critical events and conduct driver coaching as required.
- Coordinate driver onboarding, orientation, and safety training programs.
- Assist with ISAAC ELD installations, setup, troubleshooting, and driver support.
- Monitor Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and ensure maintenance compliance.
- Track annual safety inspections and maintain accurate records for all company vehicles.
- Review CVOR performance reports and assist in implementing corrective action plans.
- Maintain and update Safety Management System (SMS) documentation and procedures.
- Manage and track driver and vehicle tickets, violations, warnings, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate and respond to MTO, DOT, roadside inspections, audits, and compliance reviews, ensuring all documentation and follow-up actions are completed promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years of experience in transportation safety, fleet compliance, or trucking operations.
- Strong knowledge of Hours of Service regulations, CVOR, MTO and DOT compliance requirements.
- Experience with ISAAC ELD systems or similar electronic logging platforms is considered a strong asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
