Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facilities through routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and building systems to identify issues before they escalate
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments
- Repair or replace faulty components in machinery, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory
- Assist with installation of new equipment or fixtures as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe for all staff and visitors
Experience
- Prior experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, or mechanical repairs is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions
Pay: $17.20-$31.40 per hour
