Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations as needed
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Handle multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making accurate change
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment within the food industry
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
