Required Qualifications
- Experience working on commercial trucks, trailers, and diesel pickup trucks would be an asset
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with electronic devices for paperwork and work order completion
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate as part of a team
- Basic hand tools and a toolbox required
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic welding and fabrication skills are an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform service, repair, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance procedures on various vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic failures effectively
- Conduct tests on repaired vehicles to ensure safety and proper functionality
- Collaborate with team members to discuss complex repairs and share insights
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and shop cleanliness standards
- Participate in team meetings to continuously improve shop processes
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
