Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Instructor Therapist (IT) to join our in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with clients in their home environments, implementing individualized treatment plans. You will play a vital role in helping children and families build meaningful skills, increase independence, and achieve their therapy goals. Duties
- Implement ABA therapy programs under the supervision and direction of a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA)
- Provide direct, one-on-one therapy to clients in their home settings using evidence-based ABA techniques
- Collect accurate and consistent data on client progress during each session
- Maintain detailed session notes and communicate observations to your team
- Support caregivers by modeling strategies and promoting generalization of skills across environments
- Maintain a positive, structured, and engaging therapeutic environment
- Attend scheduled supervision meetings, team meetings, and required trainings
- Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines
Experience
- Experience working with children with developmental needs
- Post-secondary education in education, psychology, behaviour science, or a related field
- Strong data collection skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, families, and team members
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients’ homes within the service area
- Must be able to provide a background check
Preferred
- Experience or training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and familiarity with behaviour intervention strategies
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities
- CPR/First Aid certified
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
