We are currently seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for overnight front desk operations (11PM - 7AM), guest services, and completing the nightly audit. Note: This position may include weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audit procedures, including balancing and consolidating departmental ledger accounts
- Prepare daily hotel operating and audit reports
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner at all times
- Answer the main switchboard and respond to guest inquiries
- Take and accurately process reservations in the PMS system
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Handle guest concerns and complaints with a problem-solving mindset
- Perform cash handling, cash-out, and clerk balancing reports
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive, can-do attitude
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience preferred but not required (minimum 1 year an asset)
- Front desk or reservations experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of a Hotel Property Management System (PMS) is an asset
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently during overnight shifts
- Team-oriented, professional, and reliable
