Product Co-ordinator
Reports to: VP of Agriculture
Location: Greenwood Mushroom Farm – Manchester and Ashburn
Position Summary
The Product Coordinator is a key operational role responsible for aligning Growing, Harvesting, Sales, and Packing activities across multiple farm locations, including M1, M2, M3, and Ashburn. This position supports production planning, harvest optimization, and product allocation to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and exceptional customer service.
Working cross-functionally with internal teams, the Product Coordinator plays an important role in forecasting production volumes, coordinating harvest schedules, and ensuring customer demand is met while maximizing yield performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate daily with Growing and Harvesting teams across all farm locations to collect production data and provide accurate forecasting updates to Sales and Packing teams.
· Develop, maintain, and continuously refine daily and weekly production forecasts to align operational output with customer demand and business objectives.
· Coordinate product and order allocation across farms and growing rooms to maximize efficiency, product availability, and crop yield.
· Monitor harvest timing and fulfillment schedules to ensure optimal product maturity, quality standards, and operational performance.
· Partner with Harvesting teams to balance labour, crop readiness, and sales priorities while supporting efficient harvest execution.
· Provide proactive communication to the Sales Team regarding product availability, quality updates, and potential supply risks.
· Work closely with Packing Management and Quality Control teams to ensure customer specifications and food quality standards are consistently achieved.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, yield optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
· Assist in identifying process improvements and opportunities to enhance coordination between production and customer fulfillment operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in agricultural operations, preferably in mushroom production or controlled environment agriculture.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret production data and forecasts.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across different departments.
- Attention to detail and focus on quality and efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
