As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sandwiches, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and delivering a positive dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy hours
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards throughout food preparation and serving areas
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred; restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Kitchen or food industry experience is desirable but not required; willingness to learn is essential
