Berry Hill Limited is looking for a permanent part time retail sales associate.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, merchandise product and support the goals of the Berry Hill team.
Major responsibilities:
- Ensure every customer is greeted on entry and receives outstanding service.
- Aid customers in the location of product and offer advice/solutions when required
- Maintain and assist in creation of all promotions and advertisements
- Execute the daily operational, day to day goals and priorities assigned by store management
- Assist in the training and development of peers
- Merchandise product and maintain store cleanliness standards
- Be responsive of safety issues
- Be conscious of shoplifting activity
- Solicit customers to sign up for email club and any other relevant promotion
- Qualifications:
- Must be able to work flexible hours including a mix of weekdays and weekends.
- A strong understanding of and commitment to excellent customer service
- Must be able to create and maintain attractive, organized, and effective store and product displays that maximize customer appeal and support sales growth.
- Have general knowledge of our diverse product line is an asset, more important is a dedicated willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Be a fast learner with a positive and cheerful attitude
- Knowledge of POS retail systems is an asset
- Be a team player that is also willing and able to work independently
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) on a regular basis
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for an extended period of time
- Move, handle and receive merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 24.0 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Work days:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
