About the Role:
Our ideal candidate is passionate about building beautiful outdoor spaces and has 2-3 years of experience in landscape installation. They're either Red Seal Certified in Horticulture, actively pursuing horticulture training or open to starting their Red Seal training. They're a reliable team player who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, thrives in physically demanding outdoor work, and understands the importance of safety on site. With strong communication skills and a client-focused attitude, they’re looking for a full-time role where they can contribute, learn, and grow alongside a skilled and supportive crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Landscape Construction Foreperson in managing safety, quality and productivity of work at sites and/ or shop/yard
- Landscape Installations and Renovations– Hardscape, Softscape, Lighting, Carpentry, Synthetic Turf, Snow and Ice Management
- Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, cut off saws, tampers, jackhammers, excavators, skid steers, track loaders and power tools
- Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscape installation environments, shop and equipment
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years’ of experience in landscape installation, construction, or carpentry
- Red Seal Certification in Horticulture or currently enrolled in horticulture training
- Competent in the use of power tools
- Effective communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on safety
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
