Job Summary/Responsibilities
- Short-haul, local
- Home every day or away from town work available
- Complete daily inspection checklists
- Must follow safe driving practices and follow all Ministry of Transportation regulations
- Perform all duties in accordance with OHSA and company health & safety regulations
- Perform and maintain an Hours of Service log book as required by Provincial Legislation
- Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo
Requirements
- Must possess a valid DZ or AZ license and a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
- Must have experience using automatic transmission
- Some manual trucks if preferred
