Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Medical Administrator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations—managing patient inquiries, processing forms, and coordinating appointments for various locations. The ideal candidate balances excellent administrative skills with a patient-first attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- CPAP Consultation Booking: Actively call patients to schedule their initial CPAP consultation and equipment setups, ensuring a warm and professional introduction to our services.
- Follow-Up Scheduling: Coordinate and book routine follow-up appointments to track patient compliance, comfort, and supply replenishment needs.
- General Inquiries: Serve as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls and emails; answer general questions regarding our products, appointment availability, and services.
- Document Filing & Management: Maintain organized, accurate, and secure patient files and medical documents in compliance with healthcare privacy regulations (HIPAA).
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in medical administration, medical billing, or a similar role within a healthcare/home care setting.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EMR) software, billing platforms(ProviderConnect, Bluecross), and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate phone manner.
- Organization: Strong multitasking abilities and a sharp eye for detail (crucial for verifying medical prescriptions).
Preferred:
- Prior experience specifically dealing with ADP/Insurance
- Basic knowledge of CPAP compliance data (e.g., ResMed AirView, Philips Care Orchestrator) is a major plus, though training will be provided.
- Languages (Mandarin, Cantones, English, Hindu, Farsi, Punjabi, Spanish) are an asset.
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
