Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Engage children in educational activities that foster curiosity and encourage active participation.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and behavioral observations.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong background in childcare, early childhood education, or related fields; experience working with children is essential.
- Knowledge of special education strategies and working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Competent in computer skills including basic computer operation for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective teaching techniques and classroom management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently within tight schedules.
- Strong time management abilities to ensure all activities are completed promptly throughout the day.
- Leadership qualities to guide children’s learning experiences confidently while fostering independence.
