We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to train as Pavement Marking Truck Driver Trainees.
Job Overview
This is a annual position with lots of hours during the on-season (March–November) through regular and overtime shifts. Infinite Road Marking provides structured on-the-job training with specialized equipment, offering a pathway to becoming a certified Pavement Marking Truck Operator.
Responsibilities
- Train under an experienced driver to learn how to load, operate, and maintain a paint truck for applying road markings.
- Drive and operate a long-line paint truck at speeds between 4-25 km/hr, depending on the material being applied.
- Assist with accurate and efficient application of road markings in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Follow strict safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth workflow and coordination.
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement and a clean driving record.
- Excellent vehicle control and the ability to operate large trucks at low speeds.
- Willingness to learn under supervision and assist with non-driving line painting tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, organizational, and basic computer skills.
- The majority of the work will be night shifts and 10-12 hours per shift during the on-season.
Work Schedule
- On-season: Late March – November 30th
- Typical shifts: Sunday – Thursday, 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Days off: Saturdays off; occasional Friday work required
- Hours: Guaranteed and secure on-season hours
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $34.83 – $40.44 per hour
- Overtime pay
