TEAM MEMBER
Position Summary
As a Team Member, you will be responsible for a wide range of different tasks in your day-to-day interactions with our guests. From taking orders to recommending new products, your routine could change at any moment.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
- Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill. Collects payment from guests and makes change.
- Ensures products are stocked in sandwich unit area before and after business rushes.
- Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
- Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Mezza Lebanese Restaurant Group Operations Manual
- Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Mezza Lebanese Restaurant Group Operations Manual.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Top notch customer service
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
Pay: $17.00-$17.50 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Halifax, NS B3J 1Z6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- front counter attedant: 1 year (preferred)
