Overview
We are looking for an experienced reliable Carpenter to join our residential renovation construction team.
This role focuses on all aspects of residential renovation carpentry, including framing, cabinet installation, finish carpentry, trim work, door installation and general carpentry. You will be expected to confidently complete a wide range of small and medium sized carpentry tasks while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
You will work independently taking ownership of projects and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
What You Will Do
- Perform Finish Carpentry: A variety of carpentry tasks including but not limited to; installation of baseboards, casing, door installations, custom millwork, flooring installation/repairs, framing, wall removal, installation of finishing compoents.
- Install Kitchen Cabinets: Install custom and semi-custom kitchen cabinets, trim, and hardware.
- Work Independently: Read blueprints, layout jobs, problem-solve on-site independently, and manage your time efficiently.
- Represent Our Brand: Interact professionally with clients, trades, other staff memebers, and ensure a clean, safe, and respectful workspace.
Certification: Journeyman Carpenter ticket (Red Seal preferred) or equivalant experience.
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of residential carpentry experience.
Skills: Strong knowledge and experience of residential renovations and sharp attention to detail.
Tools & Transport: Must have a reliable vehicle, valid drivers licence and a set of tools.
Clearance: Ability to pass a criminal record background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$43.00 per hour
