Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional hair styling services while delivering outstanding customer service. The Barber/Stylist will be responsible for creating stylish cuts, trims, and grooming services tailored to each client's preferences, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, trims, shaves, and grooming tailored to client requests
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to clients’ needs and offering professional advice on styles and treatments
- Upsell retail products such as hair care and grooming items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Build strong client relationships through friendly communication and personalized service to encourage repeat business
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barber or Stylist with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility and skill
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper hygiene practices in a salon setting
- Ability to upsell products tactfully while prioritizing client needs
- Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members alike
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required
- Professional attitude, reliability, and a passion for the beauty industry are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.85-$41.61 per hour
