TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bakery staff to ensure the efficient production
and presentation of fresh breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, croissants, cruffins, focaccia, and
other baked goods.
● Monitor product quality, consistency, portioning, and presentation to ensure all bakery items
meet established recipes, quality standards, and customer expectations.
● Prepare and organize daily production schedules based on customer demand, catering orders,
and inventory requirements to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
● Train, mentor, and supervise bakery personnel on baking techniques, food preparation
procedures, sanitation practices, workplace safety, and quality control standards.
● Monitor inventory levels, requisition bakery ingredients and supplies, verify deliveries, and
maintain proper storage to ensure freshness and minimize product loss.
● Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety regulations by
conducting routine inspections of bakery equipment, workstations, and food handling practices.
● Assist in preparing specialty bakery items and seasonal products during peak business periods
while ensuring consistency in recipes and production standards.
● Coordinate with café management to support daily operations, fulfill catering and wholesale
bakery orders, resolve production issues, and maintain efficient workflow within the bakery
department.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience & Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the food industry
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36.60 to $37.50 for 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
