We provide specialized municipal services throughout Saskatchewan, supporting communities with maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and emergency response for critical infrastructure systems including water systems, lift stations, pumps, reservoirs, lagoons, and related infrastructure.
We are seeking a motivated Plumber / Pipefitter to join our growing team. We are open to experienced apprentices and journeypersons who are looking for a career that offers variety, responsibility, and opportunities to develop specialized skills.
Position Overview
This role entails hands-on field work supporting a variety of municipal service projects. Successful candidates must be adaptable and willing to support multiple project types and work environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical piping systems and equipment
- Install and service pumps, motors, valves, piping, controls, and related infrastructure
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and blueprints
- Perform mechanical upgrades and construction projects in water and wastewater facilities
- Assist with pump station, lift station, and treatment plant maintenance and repairs
- Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems using a variety of materials
- Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of installed systems
- Work safely in industrial and municipal environments
- Represent Municipal Utilities professionally while building strong customer relationships
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in plumbing, construction, mechanical work, or municipal services
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to travel and stay overnight as required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying conditions
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Valid Driver's Licence
Assets:
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
- Experience with pumps, piping systems, or equipment operation
- Confined Space, Ground Disturbance, or First Aid certificationsWhat We’re Looking For

Work Location: On the road
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:
- hydrovac: 1 year (preferred)
- sewer and water: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- Class 3 Licence (preferred)
